Travis Snider, selected 14th overall by Toronto in 2006, joined New Hampshire prior to the Fisher Cats game against the Sea Dogs yesterday.
Snider was supposed to start the season with the Fisher Cats, but missed most of the spring with a sore elbow and was send to Dunedin instead.
Last night Snider was the designated hitter, hitting third. He went 1-for-5, picked up his first Eastern League hit with an infield single in the fourth inning.
Snider is still not 100%, but still managed to hit .279/.333/.557 in his 61 at-bats for the Dunedin Blue Jays as DH.
Oh... and the Fisher Cats beat the Sea Dogs 9 to 3.
